I'm being stalked.

...by this number. Seriously.

My brother was born on 14th July 1993.
When my family moved to Telford, the house we moved into was number 14.
I started infant school in Telford on 14th January 1998.
My aunt Diane, a big part of my life, lives at number 14.
My best friend Abbi was born on 14th October 1991.
I started going out with my previous boyfriend on 14th February 2009.
I started going out with my current boyfriend on 14th May 2010.
My current boyfriend lives at number 14.

Ever seen that awful film with Jim Carrey, where everything in his life adds up to the number 23?

Eerie stuff.

Gordon Brown, texture like sun.

I voted yesterday.

Just turn it off.

I want to know what it'd be like
To find perfection in my pride
To see nothing in the light
I'll turn it off, in all my spite
In all my spite, I'll turn it off

And the worst part is
Before it gets any better
We're headed for a cliff
And in the free fall
I will realize I'm better off
When I hit the bottom.

If your heart is a volcano, how shall you expect flowers to bloom?

Some amazing pictures of the Iceland volcano.

Taken from BBC News and the Telegraph.

My parents and two brothers are stuck in Mallorca and I'm running out of money. Not good.

If there is one thing that will always annoy me, it is feminism.

Dictionary.com defines 'feminism' as:

1. the doctrine advocating social, political, and all other rights of women equal to those of men.
2. an organized movement for the attainment of such rights for women.
3. feminine character.

"Rights of women equal to those of men." Equality or supremacy? What makes women superior to men? Examples of inequality in today's society:

• Custody rights - courts leaning towards mothers rather than fathers
• Maternity leave vs paternity leave - 52 weeks compared with 56 days
• Domestic violence - how many 'battered husband' campaigns can you think of?
• Traditional 'female careers' - nurses, child carers, cleaners - is it fair that men receive so much ridicule for having these careers?
